On this page you will find a selection of resources to download. There are 6 simple cue cards or tools which may help you on your mentoring journey, a workbook you can use to track your progress, a coaching record for tracking your goals, and two resources for identifying and leveraging your strengths. The cue cards are:

  • The 10 step conversation is a simple guide to the mentoring process.
  • The GROW tool is a framework for coaching. Mentors can use it to help their mentees think their way through a problem.
  • Meta Mirror is a tool you can use to visualise your relationship with another person, and to understand their perspective better.
  • My Thinking Style is a tool which will help you build your emotional intelligence and self awareness, by reflecting on how you tend to feel about and respond to situations, and the outcomes you get from doing so.
  • The OK Corral is a tool for unpacking situations where your mentoring relationship might feel stuck, and there might be a feeling of blame about it.
  • Presence gives you tips and techniques for staying present and focussed during mentoring conversations.
